Did anyone just catch Prince on Leno?!?!?!
Did anyone just catch Prince on Leno?!?!?!

DAYUM, Prince just tore it up on Leno...had harmonica playing on a JAMMING upbeat rocking tune. He played the hell out of the guitar too, nice work! Best stuff I've heard from him in a while.

I just caught the end of it. If the whole album resembles the Hendrixy freakout (shades of Purple Rain!) I heard then I'll need to pick it up. I liked how he gave his guitar to a guy in the audience and it just kept feeding back.

Me too.He was on Leno again the next day, and again I caught just a bit of it without realizing it would be on.

You know, Prince's recorded work is very hit and miss with me, but there's no denying that when he wants to, the guy can flat out play the hell out of that guitar!

I am digging this new album a lot and he really rocks out on a few tracks. "Boom" and "Dreamer" are both awesome rockers, especially "Dreamer". He is soloing like a madman on that track. The last time I bought an album by Prince was Emancipation which to me was about 50% excellent and 50% crap. This album though is cool and worth the $11.99 price for 3 CD's. The CD by Bria is nice, sort of reminds me of Sade.
