A widescreen version of the "'Grumpy Old Men" films would be nice, especially since it appears the only way to get it OAR (the first film anyway) is on Bluray come June.

Let's add the Maisie and Dr. Kildare series titles to the list. It would be great if they did a double feature DVD of the films in each series released once a month. I would also add the following:
The Canterville Ghost
Small Town Girl
Ann Miller RKO features
Torchy Blane Series
Bomba the Jungle Boy Series

I go with Green Mansions and The Human Comedy too.

This is all just to good to believe.

The Student Prince (1954). With the voice talents of Mario Lanza.

I think this has been on TCM in the past, but not for a long time, unless I somehow missed it.

Although I'd rather see it at a more reasonable price in another Classic Musicals box set. Or maybe packaged with other musically-themed titles like The Great Caruso (1951).

Since George Feltenstein has already been quoted as saying: "The goal is to eventually make EVERYTHING available, but obviously that will take a lot of time, and a lot of money", doesn't that make lists of suggested titles a little redundant?

And I for one will be more than a little grumpy if Northwest Passage (to name but one) appears on a burnt DVD, in generic packaging with little more than a cursory makeover...

2011 for a Harlow collection is a bit too far off for me to get excited about.

It would be great if they also offered The Secret Six and one of her other lesser titles like Riff-Raff (with Spencer Tracy) Suzy (with Cary Grant) or Personal Property (Robert Taylor) to tie us over....

This is unless they're planning to cram all of her remaining films in the boxset.

I would also like to see the two remaining (Fifi & Youth Runs..) Lewton titles released. Considering the Lewton boxset sold very well, I would've thought that WHV might've considered a store release for these with audio commentaries and trailers like the other discs in the horror collection.

It is my understanding that Northwest Passage is going to take some significant investment to it's film elements in order to properly prepare this title for a DVD release. I don't know if such work has already begun or not, but I would hope that Warner completes whatever restoration work is necessary with it and then release this title to dvd through the retailer route either as a standalone or part of a Spencer Tracy boxset.

Films I would absolutely, positively buy (unless of course they all happen to get released during the same 2-3 consecutive months ..I then would have to wait a while between orders!)

How could I forget Madame Satan! I dont see WB releasing a DeMille box set, so Archive collection will so for me. (I think they only own Madame Satan, Dynamite, and the 1931 Squaw Man).

On another note..does anyone else hope that the blue background on the box cover goes away? For some reason it just looks tacky to me. If they want to do a format with a small picture on the cover (i dont know why they would when they can just use the orginal poster art, but who knows), they should go the way Paramount did for their recent releases of Sunset Blvd etc. The black looked so much classier, the blue reminds me of those budget double feature covers that WB does blah. Ok enough complaining lol

Mervyn LeRoy's 1935 screwball, PAGE MISS GLORY, would make an excellent candidate for this collection with a terrific cast including Dick Powell, Pat O'Brien, Marion Davies and Mary Astor.

(...at a more appealing price, that is!)
