Onkyo SK10W Subwoffer hooks up problem

I have a Denon AVR 2805 receiver with 5 surround Bose speakers. My Subwoffer is a Onkyo SK10W it has a power amp built in. The Subwoffer willn't work with this receiver. I have set all settings the manual instructions. Should this subwoffer be compatable with this receiver. Ant help will be deeply appreciated.
