I have problems with my HD plasma TVs as they get sound interruptions an pixel shifts every so often and was wondering if a monster htf1600 would rectify this problem? I saw it on sale and wasn't too much money.

Re: monster power

No, sporadic sound/video dropouts are almost always transmission glitches from the broadcaster, not much you can do about it. If it is constant, then you may have weak signal or interference, the proper steps to investigate depend if you are using OTA/cable/satellite.

Re: monster power

I have an LG PG60UD plasma and LG HT953 HTIB. Sound drops out every so often (maybe every 10mins) on free to air AND DVD but only for a split second. Doesn't do it when using just TV speakers. Very annoying in an otherwise great setup. Any help? Johno

Re: monster power

ty for the comeback. I have cable but they checked my signal an I've seen the readings and all is ok. I'm very frustrated by the sound glitches, pixel break ups even if they are not there all the time. They have changed all the cables splitters etc.I guess that old B an W 21inch with rabbit ears wasn't all that bad lol.......cat333
