You may find with a long run on a HDMI cable that going the cheap route may cause problems. There is no reason to get exspensive cables on short runs as basically any cable will do. But I believe that on longer HDMI cable runs many of the cheaper cables do not do as well. I remember listening to a podcast from AVRant on this topic, at least I believe it was that podcast. If you have problems I would go with a monster cable as it should solve any problems you may have. However if you are not having any issues due to the length of the cable at 1080p resolutions then cool no worries !

If you check out Blue Jeans cable as well, they actually test their cables and post what the usable length is for each type of cable they sell.
