FM Antenna for Denon AVR?

I need an FM antenna with a coax connector for an EyeTV DVR, and the perfect thing would be what I have on my Denon AVR -- just a thin wire with the coax connector plug at the end. Trouble is, I can't find one -- I've checked every brick & mortar in NYC -- Radio Shack/J&R/CC/BB -- and they all try to sell me some big, expensive thing that I don't want. Where can one get a Denon AVR FM antenna or equivalent?

As an antenna for my AVR I'm using a single piece of 18ga speaker wire (I pulled it apart to form two separate wires), attached one end to the receiver's 300ohm connector and the other is pinned on the wall.

Ta da! that's it.

I did have to experiment with different heights and wire orientations - radiowaves are an unpredicatable and finicky bunch!

Though out in rural areas reception may not be too great with this system.
