LCD Purchase advice (JR.com)

Hello all,
So I have $1400 in gift cards for JR.com coming in about 2 weeks. Thats how long the credit card company takes to send them I guess. Its rewards points.

Anyways, I currently have a Sony 60" XBR1, old I know. So I was thinking of getting something from JR.com under the ~$1600 mark, 50"+, 1080p, LCD (unless someone ). Any suggestions?

The Sony KDL-52W4100 is up for $1550 but the sale expires tomorrow I think. I wont have the gift cards by then. If they do extend the sale, should I go for that model? Any others I should consider? Remember I can only buy from JR.com.

Don't know about actual suggestions for a TV (other than I wouldn't go for LCD if I were you), but you might also want to shop thru Microsoft's Live Search portal (live.com) in order to get 7% cashback from a J&R online purchase. Not too sure how using those gift cards will impact the cashback ebate, but it's probably worth a try anyway.
