Breaking Bad Season 2 is starting this Sunday on AMC.

Just a reminder for those that liked this show.

This show has picked up right where it left off. The scenes with Tuco in that house when he kidnapped Walt and Jesse were intense.

Awesome episode. I can't believe how tense the scenes with Tuco's uncle hitting the bell were.

Totally agree. Everything about those scenes were so well done. Almost sad to see Tuco go because he was such a great character.

I stumbled upon this show while surfing the "On Demand" free section of Comcast. .
All I can say is WOW! What great actors and a gripping show. Very somber, tense and downright depressing, but so gripping. It's one of those shows where I don't actually like any of the characters, but I'm intrigued by the whole ensemble.
It's not that I don't care about the characters, but All I see is gloom and fear, not exactly things I WANT to relate to.
Now to find season one. Is it in rerun or on disc anywhere? Yeah, I've only watched the first four shows of the second season.

This show has been doing a really good job of keeping the viewer on their toes. The cinematography for example of Hank standing there waiting for the elevator definitely made you think something was going to happen, but I don't think I expected what happened at all. The same goes for the scenes with Walt and his wife. There's a ton of tension and awkward silences that are done just perfectly, and I think I've thought a million times so far that he'd finally tell her what's going on, but he hasn't.

I watched season 1 in a day or two from the DVD set, but now I'm watching S2 on AMC-HD where it looks great.

I agree, the awkward, tense scenes are very reminiscent of 'Six Feet Under'.

As for Hank on the elevator, what actually did happen? Is he just going through some type of post-traumatic deal?

Also, in the beginning of last week's episode, they showed a pink (I think it was pink) stuffed bear or something floating in a pool. Did they ever show what that was all about? I know this show usually opens with some unexplained event that they work up to, but I don't remember them resolving that one.

Well, the pink stuffed bear was originally seen in the pool in the season 2 premiere, but then again reappeared last week as he pulled it out of the pool.

According to the podcast, the bear is going to have a payoff late in the season but they didn't give any other clues. The plastic bags seem to be evidence bags, so something untoward probably happens.

It looks like a Meth lab explosion to me and collection of the remains as evidence. I could be way off but I think something is going to happen with little Walt; at first I thought the cigarettes were his since he's going through personality changes. i also thought that Walt had noticed some of the money was missing but it couls have just been him realizing that he is burning through it really fast.

Good lord, there's nothing worse than the foul stench of desperation when someone wants to be famous.

This weeks ep with the two Metheads and the little boy was harrowing stuff. Poor jesse he's got a good heart I'm afraid he's the one that will pay the price for all this. Looks like the wife proved she ain't no skank.

Yes good casting you could perfectly believe he was in the situation he was in, which I'm sure is one that truly happens in the country. The show found a great balance between the walt storyline and what was happening to Jesse, and although the show is about Walt and his dilemna, it has really made you care about Jesse, who you can see has potential, but his addiction and his desire for fast money is causing him to spiral down to disaster. I'm so glad we have cable channels that still take chances on these shows, Breaking Bad came out of nowhere and was an Emmy away from being cancelled and falling victim to the strike that cost alot of shows their lives that year, I'm glad it made it. The Networks take the cheap way out by putting Leno on 5 nights a week or filling hours with Reality sludge.

So...what was the deal with that music video to open the show? Did it give away Walt's eventual fate?

When they were watching that "Searching for satellite" message on the TV I had to wonder if he even had it hooked up to a dish? I was waiting for the neighbor to say something to that effect.

They talked about it in a podcast. They wanted an authentic Narco Corridos song but the genre demands that the drug lords/cartel are the heroes. It doesn't necessarily predict the future.

Well, if you go by what we saw, he didn't have it hooked up to anything - there was only an electrical cord coming out from behind the TV plugged into the wall. Somehow I doubt there would be a cable/satellite feed up high where the TV was mounted to where we wouldn't see it.

^ I just thought it was a joke and Jesse didn't realize that the TV doesn't just magically work when you turn it on.

And I recommend checking out the webisodes (I see them on On Demand but they're also on the AMC website) because they actually feature the actors from the show and are pretty funny.

Walt is sure going on a power trip. This show is awesome and the video at the beginning was cool although I think it went too long.
