Hi all,
Brand new here and first post. Of cours, it's because I have a problem.

I have a Toshiba 65H80 I got in Feb 2001, so 8 years old. It has been a great TV and Gregg L. calibrated it for me which made it even better.
Anyway, we watched a couple of movies last night and all was fine. However, when we turned the set on this morning, on the bottom third the color would separate and I would have double images, one in green and one in purple. It is primarily on the bottom third of the screen, middle seems to be fine, and again some separation in the upper corners. And there is skewing (arc / distortion) of the image on the bottom of the screen.
We have run the TV for a while to see if warming up would help, but to no avail. Is this what I see referred to as a convergence problem? If so, I read another thread where Gregg mentioned it could be old solder deteriorating on the convergence boards (I think behind the lamps). Is it repairable or should I just be happy I got so much use out of this for 8 years and move on.
Anyway, any help or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
