Mordaunt Short rear speakers?

Afternoon - probably a basic question, but I've just bought a pair of MS 903i bipolar rears, but I'm not sure whether to stand them on the floor (no stand) or hang them on the wall. Does it matter - is the sound quality affected?

Thanks

Re: Mordaunt Short rear speakers?

I don't personally know that speaker model, but surround speakers should be above ear level, so they shouldn't be on the floor.

They flutter behind you, your possible pasts.
Some bright-eyed and crazy, some frightened and lost.

...and to add to John's post. Surrounds should be on the sides if possible, not behind you (assuming 5.1 setup, not 7.1).
