Here's my setup info.
I am running a 50ft. HDMI cable from my main entertainment center over to my bedroom with a IR remote extender. This is so I can watch my DVR in my bedroom when I choose to so I'm not anchored to my living room. Also so I can play my Xbox 360.

The Xbox works fine and the cable box does too...kind of.

Here's the weird part:
If I'm watching an HD channel in my bedroom using the 50ft HDMI connection I get picture and sound and it looks great. If I switch to a non-HD channel, the picture and sound will come up for about 2 seconds and then my TV goes to "No Signal". If I go back to a HD channel...everything comes back.

I know it's not directly my cable box because I can view HD and non-HD in my living room fine with HDMI connections.

Any ideas on this? I've been thinking of getting a HDMI booster but not sure it that is my problem.
