I'm trying to help an older couple set up a HT. They want to use a BBE Sonic Maximizer in the system and I'm trying to determine how best to hook this thing up. Basically, I need it to process all spoken dialogue that goes to the speakers. Hooking it between the pre out and amp in would accomplish this for the front speakers but for DD and DTS content, this wouldn't work since most dialogue would come from the center speaker.

Could someone lend me some guidance or maybe point me towards some info? I've searched and come up empty. A particular reciever that would be best suited for this would be great too.

What I'm trying to accomplish is to compensate for hearing loss caused by age. They already use a BBE unit for music so are sold on it. Even if there is a better way to approach this problem, i'd rather not try to change their mind. Old people can be stubborn as heck.
