Re: Flight of the Conchords Season 2
Nice article on the show in this week's Time. They talk about how the first season was written around a cache of songs that they had been performing for years, but how for the current season, there was extra pressure coming up with both episodes and songs at the same time. They suggest that the songs get better as the season progresses.

I think I'm done with this show. I found the first season very funny and witty but S2 seems like an entirely different show.

I don't know, I'm pretty loyal to shows I like. I don't think that my tastes could've changed that much in a year.

Re: Flight of the Conchords Season 2
i just got into this show last week and am caught up as of this weekend. pretty freakin' hilarious! i'm definitely going to spread word of mouth.
i think the songs in the second season are nowhere near as funny as the first. however the writing and jokes are probably a little funnier. i thought the second season premier was one on of the best. Murray saying the polish crazy dogs was a cover that happen to come up 13 years earlier had me rolling...

wow, i actually thought it was pretty good. conversely, i thought the "friendship" episode the week before was probably the least funny of the series.

Re: Flight of the Conchords Season 2
i just got into this show a few weeks ago and i think it's hilarious, but i can see this show getting stale. it's not a case like Arrested Development where there are so many characters and storylines to go around. i'll be sad to see it end but not disappointed.
