We are looking to buy a 6.1 receiver. Our house has this combination of ceiling speakers :
left, right satellite speakers
left , right , centre surround satellite speakers
non-satellite centre channel
left side wall mounted sub-woofer
I googled for 6.1 receivers and didnt really find any good models released in the last 1 year. The models I found from Yamaha were at least 3 years old. While the brand doesnt matter, I am more interested in a good quality receiver which has at least 2 optical inputs and work well with a blu-ray DVD player. Having on-screen navigation is important. Auto-sound calibration would be good to have as well.
