I am getting ready to buy my first plasma tv and had decided on the Panasonic 50" TH-PZ800U. That is, until I read about the new Neo PDP technology that will be coming out in Panasonic's 2009 lineup. The G10 series sounds appealing to me and I'm wondering whether this technology is worth waiting a few months for. Can anyone provide any additional insight into this technology? Specifically, is it simply that the panels are thinner and more energy efficient, or is it believed to have a noticeably superior picture quality? Also, I know pricing hasn't been released, but any best guess estimates for the G10 series 50" pricing? Any opinions/information would be greatly appreciated!
