HELP ASAP PLEASE....

I have a Pioneer DV270 DVD player...We were just about to watch a DVD and I hit the menu and switched it to Progressive Scan in my quest for a better picture and when we switched it on I lost my picture...Needless to say I cant switch it back if I cant see the menu...Is there anyway to rest it to factory default settings? I tried unplugging it for a short time,maybe 30 seconds or so...Any ideas out there??? Everyone's waiting for the movie...

Connect the player to the TV using the yellow composite cable. That should let you see the image to fix the problem. If you're using the component cables "progressive scan" should work fine, not sure why you lost the image.
