So, I've read lots and lots and don't really know what I should be buying.
The Sony HTCT100 is a sub and sound bar 3.1 channel home theater system with a built-in amplifier.
I'm placing this unit in a bedroom with a Sony 32" 720p TV.
The idea for getting the HTCT100 in the first place is to keep it minimal and small with not a lot of components as this is the bedroom.
So hook up any DVD player and I'm done - OK. But I'd like to have this act as a stereo also so I can eliminate a need for stereo.
Since Sony doesn't pair this with a receiver/dvd player like many other in the box home theaters I have no clue what to get. It seems it doesn't exist.
I'm simply looking for a all-in-one unit dvd/cd/fm receiver like the ones that come in regular home theater packages. I can't find one though! So I figure I must be missing the boat big time on this and have no clue to what I'm doing. What do people hook up to the HTCT100 that want DVD and FM radio in addition to CD's and MP3's.
