New and need help

Hi guys,

I just bought a Optoma Hd65 Projector. I installed it on my ceiling and would like to project on a 120" 16:9 screen. The room is Dark with no windows. What would be the best type of screen? I'm willing to buy the material and making my own fixed frame if needed. Just not sure what material and gain ratio would produce the best quality for watching Blu-Ray movies?

If you have a front projection system and are looking at building a custom screen, you're a bit past the "Basics" stage. This section is mostly for folks who are brand new to the home theater hobby. I think you might get a quicker response to your question by asking the mods to move your thread to "Members Theaters and HT Projects" or "Display Devices", where the real experts in this sort of thing hang out.
