doesn't anybody think that 'Rachael getting married" should be in the top 10 I was amazed by that movie and am surprised that nobody in here has mentioned it!!!!

RACHEL is the one "critic friendly" American film I missed this year. I hope to catch up with it when it hits DVD. The rest of what I need to see are foreign movies, which I hope open here soon but trying to get a definitive list of the year's best is rather hard since it takes months for them to reach where I am. Those in LA and NY are certainly lucky by not having to wait 4-6 months for a film.

Looking over the first page, a few of us listed "Rachel" in our top ten list. It was no. 2 on mine.

After seeing "Synecdoche, New York", I think I've gotten close to a finalized list.

So is Adam_S or anyone going to go to the trouble of compiling a "Master List" for our top 10s? Those were always fun...
