Leviton 5380-I In-Wall Surge Supressor Receptacle- Sufficient enough for PT-AE3000U?

Got this installed for my projector and then another installer suggested it may not be enough protection for my Panasonic PT-AE3000U:

Leviton Duplex Surge Suppression Receptacle 5380-I - Smarthome

Nothing else is plugged into the outlet other than the projector... do I need more? If so, what should I consider and how much $$? I'm not looking to get an UPS at this time, just surge protection.

sure. This will work.

Always consider a UPS for bulb based displays. If the power goes out with out the bulb cooling down you can blow the bulb.

Gregg, thanks for chiming in! That's good about the surge supressor, but he also mentioned the UPS thing... can you give me an idea of what's involved and maybe a guesstimate of what it'll run me $$$?? Would it be installed down on my service box on that circuit? Since the outlet is on the ceiling, I hope so...

depends on your installation. If just ceiling tiles...put the UPS with your HT gear and run an extension cord.

Nope, it's drywall and we just finished having it patched up from our install...
