Getting Speakers to Play in 2nd Room - Please Help!

After hours of trying to get this work, I thought I'd put my question to this forum. I have a Sony STR-DA5200ES receiver. My current speaker configuration features a two front speakers, a center channel speaker, and two rear surround speakers. I have two additional speakers in a separate room.

My problem is that I want the two speakers in the separate room to play simple stereo and mirror whatever is playing on the receiver. For example, let's say that I'm (watching my Tivo, listening to music via Apple TV, listening to the radio) and want to hear what's going on when I'm in the other room. The problem is that no matter how I configure the remote speakers, only rear surround audio presents itself through the remote speakers. Or maybe it is playing left & right but there's no center channel audio coming through the remote speakers. I've tried to plug the speakers into various jacks and I've tried to enable A+B and Zone 2 audio, but I just can't make it work. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd be eternally grateful!

Here's a link to the manual if that will help anyone.

Thanks!

I can't answer your question. I have a DA777ES and when I had a set up like you want I had no problems.

If it's not bad form, I would suggest checking out
Sony Forum Section - Agoraquest

It's a Sony Enthusiast's web board.
