Denon AVR-988 Question

It doesn't allow you to run an HDMI from the cable box to the reciver. So my choices are S-video (thats what i'm using now) component, or Digital coaxial. Which will give me the best picture? thanks!

Nevermind. I've been looking for this answer for 2 days...and not 5 mins after posting I read that the Denon converts the signal to whatever "Out" your using. So basicly its HDMI because thats what I have run to my projector.
