Panasonic PT900 grinding noise???

My 900 has a grinding noise like the fan is rubbing on something inside, anyone else have this happen, what should I look for? The bulb has over 3000 hrs on it, would that make any difference?

Although I am not familiar with the Panasonic PT900, I would think that the source of the problem is the fan. Your bulb does not have any moving parts, so I can't see how that could cause the noise you mention.
