I just ordered the SVS MTS-01 full size speaker sytem with the PB13 ultra sub.

I would sure appreciate some guidance in choosing an appropriate receiver to
go with the system & ease of operation is a plus.

Thanks in advance,

- Cam

EDIT: It is the 5.1 system

I'm currently partial to Onkyo (the 906 would be in that range).

I think once you get to that price point, the differences between Denon, Pioneer, Yamaha, HK, and others is really just small features and brand loyalty. I don't think you can go wrong with any of these.

Wait and see what everyone recommends....

The 906 offers a lot for the money but a couple of others I'd look at are Pioneer Elite (05, 07 and 94) and the Marantz 8002/7002. Marantz falls a bit short on video processing but sound quality is first rate. H/K doesn't really offer a higher end receiver at the momement. The top of the line is the 354.

I wonder what you can get from Rotel, NAD, Adcom, Anthem, etc. for $1500? If anything.
