Okay, here's the situation - I have a Denon 3808CI, and I'm moving to a house, and want to set up a second zone.
Zone 1 will be a 7.1 setup, so I understand it's best for my Zone 2 to use the pre-out RCA connections, which will be run upstairs to the living room. Up there I intend to get an amp to plug into (suggestions for simple/cheap amps are welcome), with the speakers hooked up to it.
Now I expect I need some kind of IR device upstairs so I can control the Denon in the basement, but what exactly is needed? Is there anything else I missed, or do you have other suggestions on setting up a Zone 2?
