Halloween DVD Extras

I am writing a research dossier on Halloween (1978), ie production, distribution, critical reception, rather than textual analysis and own Halloween: 25 Years of Terror and 2001 2 disc edition of Halloween but I'm looking for the DVD which contains the Halloween: Cut Above the Rest documentary. Is this on the R2 Halloween: 25th Anniversary edition? Are there any extras on the Rob Zombie remake?

Also anyone know of any other interesting articles, reviews, etc on Halloween let me know. Especially material from 1978 rather than DVD reviews.

You could always read Roger Ebert's review. There's also an episode from Siskel and Ebert around 1981 where they discuss why HALLOWEEN is much more than a "worthless slasher" ala stuff like FRIDAY THE 13TH.

On the R1 re-release that came out in October, there's a 4 hour making-of documentary on the remake that covers every day of shooting.

I don't know about R2 but the R1 25th anniversary release has that doc.
