Capote double feature on BD, 2/17/09

Great news for all us Capote fans.

Sony has announced a February 17 release date for a bundled release of 'Capote', starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, and the 1967 classic 'In Cold Blood' starring Robert Blake and Scott Wilson.

I don't ordinarily like package offerings, but both of these titles are high on my roster of must-haves. The suggested list of $34.98 is easy to swallow.

Glad to see another classic B&W film coming to HD.

There is a question regarding pricing as indicated by what Amazon had on their site earlier today. Their pricing was much higher.

I have a catalog number and UPC, but no press release yet.

Cat.#: 30265
UPC: 043396302655

It's on Sony's release schedule but the MSRP is shown as "N/A". No information on special features, either.

That MSRP quoted in the link does sound too good to be true. If the bundled price is no better than a doubling of the stand alone price, I'm still there on release day.
