Re: 2009 TRACK THE TV EPISODES YOU WATCH
Okay, I've been lurking here for a couple years, and I've finally decided to dive in (so be kind if I make a mis-step or two)I started the day after Christmas:
12/26
Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet -- The Duenna (#156) -- Ozzie double-dates with David and blames his near-cheating on a language barrier
Sabrina -- Ug at the Bat (#?) -- Sabrina conjures up a caveman to play baseball, then zaps Moose into a walking computer -- just another average day at Riverdale High
Family Guy -- Peter Peter Caviar Eater (#8) -- The Griffins move into a mansion (w/ an Annie-inspired production number!)
Rocky & Bullwinkle -- Greenpernt Oogle (#?) -- Bullwinkle is kidnapped for his weather-predicting bunion; Aesop tells the tale of The Canary and the Musical Hares; and Sherman & Peabody visit Pancho Villa
Batman: The Animated Series -- Dreams in Darkness (#31) -- Batman completely flips out after the Scarecrow gets to him and ends up strait-jacketed in Arkham
Adventures of Super Mario Brothers 3 -- Dadzilla/Tag Team Trouble (#5) -- Another unwatchable episode -- how did this make it a full season?
Flash -- Honor Among Thieves (#3) -- Barry attempts to protect the Death Mask of Rasputin from being stolen from Central City Museum (yawn -- where's Capt. Cold when you need him?)
12/27
Lost -- Pilot Part 2 (#2) -- Charlie takes heroin and sees a polar bear charging at him out of the jungle...oh yeah, so does everyone else...somehow it's all Walt's fault
12/28
Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet -- Reading Room (#160) -- Harriet and the boys send Ozzie up to the attic to read; midlife crisis ensues
Family Guy -- Holy Crap (#9) -- McFarlane skates along the edge of excommunication as Peter kidnaps the Pope to impress his dad
Rocky & Bullwinkle -- Greenpernt Oogle Pt. 3 & 4 (#?) -- Rocky tries to save Bullwinkle; a frog has delusions that he's a prince
Roseanne -- Halloween IV (#104) -- Roseanne subverts A Christmas Carol two months early
Batman: The Animated Series -- Eternal Youth (#16) -- Poison Ivy turns rich industrialists into trees -- somehow she thinks this helps the environment
Adventures of Super Mario Brothers 3 -- Do the Koopa/Kootie Pie Rocks -- Mario, Luigi and the Princess meet Milli Vanilli -- seriously (though their music is redubbed, ironic, huh)
Flash -- Double Vision (#4) -- Barry celebrates the Day of the Dead by getting mind- and body-controlled; plus he slaps around Amanda Pays
Odd Couple -- Natural Childbirth (#25) -- Season 2 opens w/ a new apartment, a studio audience, and a pregnant girl in labor (at least she's not stuck in an elevator)
Happy Days -- Fonzie Moves In (#40) -- Season 3 opens w/ a new living room, a studio audience, but no pregnant girl....yet....plus Sit On It enters the 70s lexicon
Partridge Family -- You're Only Young Twice (#55) -- Danny discovers that "Adultery isn't all it's cracked up to be"
I Love Lucy -- Lucy's Mother-in-Law (#105) -- Desi flubs a line -- doesn't happen often
Reba -- Your Place or Mine (#46) -- Reba is sad because Kira wants to move across the street to her Dad's -- really Reba, it's for the best
Saturday Night Live -- Lily Tomlin/James Taylor (#25) -- last Muppet sketch (yay!)
Lois and Clark -- Fly Hard (#20) -- Terrorists hold the gang hostage while searching for a buried safe...Tracy Scoggins utters her last innuendos before heading to the Phantom Zone
