I am thinking of asking Santa for a new home theater system to replace what I have. Currently I have the Jamo Center 100 for my CC and the Jamo Bookshelf 65's for my Fronts. I also have a Velodyne VA 1210 sub that, although the kids have pushed in the paper cone on the front firing woofer, it still looks and sounds amazing. I have a sony Str-dg170 amp and a PS3. I know i need to upgrade to get the full effect of the audio, but right now its what I have to stil with.

So, I am looking to get either this...

or

I will be keeping the velodyne until it absolutely is broke as it still hits like a champ. Also, given the current configuration of my house (which wont change anytime soon), I will only be going with 5.1 and not 7.1. Also, this set-up will be 80% movies/tv, 19% music and 1% gaming.

All that said, is what I have now (the Jamo's) better than my choices? They are both within my price range so thats why I chose them. Plus the look, fit and finish is what I am looking at without sacrificing any sound that I may already have. OR, do I keep the Jamo's and look for a pair of nice rear surrounds to fill out my system?

Thank you!
