Don't assume anything. The stories about installs and proposed installs over the years range from comical to pathetic. That's why we encourage YOU to learn about your equipment. After spending a week or 2 here most know more than the average salesperson at Best Buy and Circuit City.

Until you have experienced it you don't know. I judge my upgrades and tweaks based on the reaction of my wife. Very few things I do don't get a positive response. And it isn't about throwing in Transformers and blasting her with bass. I'll test with that as well as concert DVDs with acoustic guitar or just dialog in a movie. It's more about balance than blasting someone.

This is one of the best forums. Others can get extremely technical. I'm not going to say the BK isn't bad but you should put a little time into your system first. It's not expensive. An SPL meter and calibration DVD is about $60. Plotting the sub's response uses the same SPL meter and test tones that you generate yourself for free. The spreadsheet for the plotting is free as well. Once that is done if you are still lacking then get you a few BK's.
