onkyo 705 and pan bmp bd 55 problem

I cannot get my video from my pan 55 to pass through my 705. The picture is scrambled colors, but the sound works fine. If I hook it directly to my tv, it'll work fine. I have my monitor set to yes. I have the correct HDMI port assigned to the dvd. I tried switching the cables and ports to no avail. I have my dvd player set to 1080i. My dish works fine it's HDMI and also my Sony dvd player with HDMI worked fine.

problem solved, the pan 55 hdmi video mode must be turn off and then set the res. manuelly.
