Passing High Quality Audio Through a Kenwood KC-X1 Preamp

I have a Panasonic Blu-Ray DMP-BD55K DVD player which decodes Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, DTS-HD High Resolution Audio and DTS-HD Master Audio Advanced. Is it possible to have my Kenwood KC-X1 preamp simply pass through the DTS-HD audio without decoding? If so, which of the preamp settings on the Kenwood do I use:
Dolby Pro Logic
Dolby 3 Stereo
THX Cinema
DSP Logic
Mono

Or would I be able to bypass the preamp and feed the output from the Panasonic Blu-Ray player directly to the Kenwood KM-X1 amp?

Not likely, as that would require a digital input, which I don't think the KC-X1 has.

Sure, as long as it's an analog connnection. But unless your blue-ray player has a volume control on the emote, it's going to be at full volume all the time...
