Re: No love for KUNG FU: THE LEGEND CONTINUES?
Im a huge fan of the original series bought all three seasons as soon as they came out. The second series was apart of the second wave of cheesily produced non union canadian syndicate shows, it was on for a I think three years. The premiss was silly, acting so so and the stories were poorly plotted and written. It had none of the magic and uniqueness of the original series, honestly I was shock it lasted as long as it did. It wasnt horrible but in was even really so so, it was just another cheesy non union canadian series and alway lived in the shadow of the original series.

You know......I was thinking the exact same thing while watching Kung Fu: Season 2. Why hasn't Warner released the newer series? I remember watching some of it when it originally aired and while it can't compare to the original, I still liked it. I also liked the fact that they shot it in and around Toronto.

I would gladly pick it up if Warner ever releases it.
While they are at it, they should release the 80's TV movie where Carradine reprises the original Kwai Chang Caine and co-stars Brandon Lee. I'm surprised that one isn't out either.
Recently watched- BSG: Season 4.0[BD], Starship Troopers 3: Marauder[BD], The Happening[BD], Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen (IMAX)[BD], An American Werewolf In London[BD]
Currently watching- Heroes: Season 1[BD], Michael Palin: Pole To Pole, Battlestar Galactica[BD], Magnum P.I.: Season 7

I loved KF-TLC when it aired. It was good fun, just a way to kick back and relax for an hour on Saturday afternoon. I'd pick up the season sets as soon as they came out. I'm hoping that there is a large number of us who like the show so that it will see a release on dvd.

Count me in to wanting this show on dvd. Also, want the new version of the Untouchables that aired in the 1990's. It lasted 3 seasons and was very good.
Bring back John Doe! Or at least resolve the cliff-hanger with a 2hr movie or as an extra on a dvd release.

Yeah I like the 90's version of the Untouchables it came out shortly after cosner movie. It was fun and did suffer from the god awful walter"the blackmailer" winchell's narration. For me KFTLC never was half as good as the orginal series. Yeah I would like to see the 90's untouchables in dvd .

Bob,
Speaking of the Untouchables. I just attended the Chiller show in NJ last weekend. Where I met the actor William Forsythe. He played Al Capone on the show. He also was upset the show hasn't been released. My only hope is that they might release it when the original show finishes its releases. Also, their supposedly is an Untouchables movie coming out next year. And they may want to tie it into the movie.
