Dirty Sexy Money season 2

Dirty Sexy Money gets its second season underway tonight on ABC at 10 p.m. EDT. Lucy Liu joins the casts. I think Samaire Armstrong did not return to the show (I could be mistaken, though).

re: Dirty Sexy Money season 2

I was out of town last week and did not realize that the premiere had already happened. Did anyone watch this and if so how was it?

OK. Did they do anything to write the other twin out six months ago, or are they just going with "she's gone, maybe we'll mention why later if Ms. Armstrong wants to do a guest arc or definitively rules out ever coming on the show again"?

I thought the season premiere was very good -- I love this show!

And no, they didn't write out Juliet Darling last season. I expect to see a throwaway line about her going globetrotting or something so she can return if she's able.

Nice display of wealth by the Darlings in putting up Leticia's bond.

Jeremy got a "Doh!" moment at his sister-in-law's funeral.

Re: Dirty Sexy Money season 2

Yup, as expected, the line about Juliet being off on some island.

I was afraid Patrick was going to let slip a "Carmelita" during the eulogy. Glad it didn't go there.

Re: Dirty Sexy Money season 2

Though I was catching up on DSM episodes, ABC has cancelled it as of today.

Re: Dirty Sexy Money season 2

Yes. You know, over the summer, they filmed three episodes that they trash-canned; never aired, by one of the show runners of "Dexter". I'd be interested in seeing those on some DVD box set or released somewhere.. to see where this show could have went. But it was somewhat doomed. Four show runners in 2 years, 4 episodes filmed and then abandoned that wouldn't fit into continuity at all now; 1 from Season 1 and the first three episodes that were supposed to begin Season 2.

Train wreck.

Re: Dirty Sexy Money season 2

Well, ABC has absolutely killed this product. Yes, it's cancelled. So, in order to apparently hasten the demise, last night, episode 2x08 aired. Meanwhile, 2x07 never aired (and apparently will not). So, those who were looking to follow up on issues from the 6th episode of the season got thrown forward, and new plotlines that had no development to them at all magically appeared and old ones were gone. Please, rather then do this, just yank the show.

Is there anyone out there who watched the last episode of this series.  I was very disappointed with the very abrupt ending to the series.  They tied everything up in the last five minutes of the show.

I couldn't figure out the last show, which I thought tied up nothing, except revealing Nick's dad was behind the whole thing and is still alive.. which seemed like a crazy soap opera cliff hanger to end on.
