Does the same apps (especially games) that work for iPhone also work for iPod Touch?

So far, my answer is yes. Everything I've tried (admittedly only 20 apps or so) has worked all around- Touch v1, Touch v2, Iphone 3G (we have all three in the house).
Obviously, I need to try a lot more.

Re: favourite ipod touch / iphone apps
Some apps do need internet access (or similar) to work properly. For those, you'll need your iPod Touch to have WiFi access when you use them. Also, it's possible that they might not behave as reliability on the iPod Touch -- depends on exactly how they are implemented. There are probably also some apps that are designed specifically for phone use, and obviously, those wouldn't be useful on the iPod Touch.
Personally, I'm still waiting for Apple to fix their audio dropout problem w/ their Apple Lossless format -- there seems to be no acknowledgement and/or expected fix so far.

Apparently, this has been fixed in the last minor revision v2.2.1 of the software back in late-Jan/early-Feb.

I just hadn't realized it until today (when I googled the issue again due to all the preview info about the upcoming new v3 software).
