Need help with my pioneer elite rear projection(pro-510hd) which I have had for some 9 years. Recently I switched over to verizon and my tv worked fine up until a week ago. I don't know if it's something I did or the tv went bad. The problem is that I am getting three 1/2 pictures on the screen. With a blank screen I am getting 3 solid vertical lines(up/down) spaced evenly. Can anybody explain or steer me in the right direction in correcting this problem. Your help will greatly be appreciated.

Re: 3 pictures on screen

You haven't disconnected and reconnected a set of component cables by any chance, have you?

Re: 3 pictures on screen

You might have reconnected them incorrectly. Make sure they are connected to the correct inputs (Y, Pb, Pr) on both the display and the source unit.

Re: 3 pictures on screen

Your TV might not be accepting the video signal, namely a quick check of its specs. suggests to me that the Pioneer 510 HD does not accept 720p. So your Verizon cable box has to convert any 720p shows to 480p or 1080i for you. The box probably has a switch on the back to call for conversion or no conversion.
