Amazon has a listing up for what looks to be like the original 1951 version of "The Day The Earth Stood Still" from Fox:
Amazon.com: The Day the Earth Stood Still (Special Edition) [Blu-ray]: Movies & TV
It makes sense to tie it in with the December 12 release of the remake (which looks awful, IMO). If this is true, I'm all over it!
EDIT: It's up at DVD Empire, too!

I was hoping that Fox would do this when they announced the SD DVD SE. It looks like the MSRP is $5 lower than their usual $39.99
