hey guys, i hope im in the right spot!..sorry if im not, but, i have a question!..... i have an Panasonic hdtv with a sony dvd reciever. my reciever doesnt have an hdmi port, but my laptop does (which has a hd dvd player) so i was going to hook up my laptop to my tv, via hdmi, but how would i go about getting the surround sound to work on my dvd reciever if the hdmi isnt hooked up to it? im not a very tech-e person, but the reciever does have a digital optical out, as well as my laptop, and all 3 units have S- video... i dont know if that helps! but any help would be most appreciated, thank you!
