As I type this, I wait patiently for the guys downstairs to finish laying down new carpet in our family room so I can begin to set up our new television. I've had my eye on this model for a number of months and purchasing it was all part of a larger plan to change/update our family room.

My previous TV was the Toshiba RPTV 42H82 (a good, reliable TV) so I have experience with HDTVs in general. I learned to manually calibrate that one for a very nice picture. I've been reading the Panasonic manual in advance but if anyone on HTF has any experience with this particular model or Panasonic in general and has any tips or advice I would greatly appreciate it. I am really looking forward to turning this on. Thank you.
