Cool. I've been listening to it for a few days now.  It is great and his thread is great for exposing one to new music or reminding you of something you maybe forgot about.  I've expanded my classical listening quite a bit thanks to Scott and others.

Yes  -  Close To The Edge. Needed my weekly fix.

Listened to it for the first time in DTS Neo:6/Music. Not bad but hi-res 5.1 would be incredible!

I know full well how the name authority is supposed to be written, thank you.  I posted it that way in order to help readers, some of whom apparently may not be as well-versed with regard to Mr. Williams as you, to distinguish between the two.

huh?

Yes, of course, using a nonexistant name for a legend is very helpful in avoiding confusion amongst the less informed.

I'll start using Jesus Sr. ...you know, so people will know who I'm talking about.

Right now,I'm trying to fight the loneliness and boredom that I've been experiencing lately, and I've find it hard to cope up with it lately, and so I
shifted myself to listen cool sounds every 5 hours, if possible. Anyways, it really helps me. I've been revived by it. And it's my therapeutic tool.

Anyways, to stop all that that crap..LOL.. Right now I'm into songs of Pitbull the one which is Calle Ocho..And Rihanna's Hatin' On the Club..

Now We're One (fragment) (B. Holley).

Next: Dearest (two versions) (B. Holley). Interestingly, the first version (incomplete) is in D major, while the second version (the one that is probably more commonly known) is in D-flat major on this recording. When listened to in succession, the richness of the lower register (both vocally and instrumentally) in the D-flat major version conveys a fascinating ethos between the two works residing approximately one half-step apart. It reminds me somewhat of the Scala Theatre performance by the Beatles with regard to the lowered half-step on several of the tracks.
