Sure, my two schnoodles are always grateful when the AC is on and they get cool.
But when I'm not listening to them (therefore ignoring them) I'm waiting in anticipation for the next unreleased soundtrack that is hopefully in the mail, "The Journey Of Natty Gann".
Then I'll have fun, heartfelt Americana-flavored music to enjoy.

Hand In My Pocket (A. Morissette).Easily one of my favorite tunes of hers (G major), although I have several. The harmonica part in the middle is far too short, although it works out well as far as the formal proportion of the track is concerned. I just wish she had doubled that section because I really like it so much.
The primary triad is lacking a third (B-natural) several times in the guitar part, which is a wonderful effect. If the tune had begun with a full G triad, I would probably not have given it as serious a listen as I eventually did roughly fifteen years ago. The hollowness of the perfect fifth (twelfth) is IMO very musical, and caught my ear instantly upon first hearing the track. You can hear a similar effect on Tell Me What You See (on Help!, British album, and on Beatles VI, American album). Both tunes are in the same key. {Incidentally, Tell Me What You See is in my estimation a very underrated tune of the Fabs.}

I too love that album, and that track. I almost purchased the boxed set, Those Were the Days not too long ago, but my close friend told me that he thought something better was on the horizon.

Douce Dame Jolie (G. de Machaut).
I played this tune on my daughter's electric guitar today as well. LOL. Not exactly the way Machaut intended it to be performed, but the notes were all there, and the modality of the chanson is forever intriguing.

Genesis--Wind and Wuthering. Before that "the Duke Suite" (I arranged the tracks from Duke that were originally intended--and played in concert on a few occasions--as a complete suite: Behind the Lines/Duchess, Guide Vocal, Turn It on Again, Duke's Travel's, Duke's End). Before that, a mix of Matthew Sweet I unearthed that I'd made nearly 10 years ago.
