It did not show up--as per amazon's estimate--yesterday.

In fact, the tracking continues to show the package still sitting in Springfield (since Saturday morning!).

Double sigh. I know, I know. It'll get here today or tomorrow and all will be forgotten. I just can't believe Ron got his so fast! Must be all that good living.

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

And that is why I went with Amazon Prime. Guaranteed 2nd-day delivery that is almost always next-day. Considering the price differential it would be for the number of orders I get from Amazon, $80/year was a steal.

Is that Springfield, MA? I've had longer waits for my Amazon stuff that goes through that distribution centre than any other--may not be Amazon's fault but rather the delivery company. But I've never not received my stuff, in the end.

Yup. The US Postal Service facility in Springfield, MA. Maybe they're all just bitter about Springfield, VT winning the nationwide Simpsons contest to become the home of their "fictional Springfield."

You never can tell what goes on with Media Mail, Mike. I had something ship from Amazon's New Castle, DE facility on Wednesday and it came today.

Mike, I'll be passing through Springfield next Friday as I head out of town. If it's still sitting there then, let me know and I'll swing by the facility to grab it for you.
