HDTV capable video switching vs HDMI I/O

I have a very small living room as I live in NYC about 8ft x 8ft but would like a Home Theater. I do not need much so I was looking at the Onkyo HT-S3100S that has HDTV Video switching but the HT-S5100S has 2 HDMI in and 1 HDMI out.

I have HDMI in on my TV.

I only have a cable box and 360 but also plan to add Blu Ray in the future. Do I need to spend the extra money for such a small room?

Re: HDTV capable video switching vs HDMI I/O

Depends on how much convenience of switching you want. You can buy inexpensive HDMI switch boxes if your existing equipment doesn't have enough inputs.

Once they start coming out with copy protected DVD's you must have HDMI with HDCP cabling to see them in high definition on your Blu-Ray player.
