New 1 hr. Red Dwarf to be filmed in Oct. 2008

I was just e-mailed the following news:

At the KTCS9 20th Anniversary evening [on August 24, 2008], Robert [Llewellyn, (Kryten)] announced to a small crowd that a brand new, 1 hour Red Dwarf episode had been commissioned by BBC Worldwide, to be filmed in October 2008.

He wouldn't spoil the storyline, but did mention that the script is being finalised (sic) right now.

...

It was recorded by KTCS9 for a future DVD.

...

KCTS is a PBS station in Seattle.

New Red Dwarf? Just when I thought there was no hope of ever seeing a new episode of this. Looking forward to the DVD (or Blu-ray) whenever it comes.

There is a promo Llewellyn did for the station here in which he announces that he is going to announce something (which we now already know about).
