Here's the first 'Pale Rider' review I've seen posted thus far. Sounds like it's worthy transfer, but...I want to hear from more sources. This review is from DVD Beaver, with screen captures.

The captures look great and appropriately grainy. That third pic with the barber shop at the right is just too beautiful.

It looks like film, plain and simple. That should be enough.
