Since you´re using optical, you only get the "core" from DTS-HD MA (core is "DTS - 1.5 Mbps") and Dolby TrueHD (core is "Dolby Digital - 640kbps", I believe?). So use bitstream.

*HD DVD Toshiba XE1 (1080p) - Sony Bravia KDL-40W2000 (1080p) - Yamaha RX-V1800 (HDMI 1.3)

Re: PS3 audio to a Bose 321

Thanx, i appreciate the reply. So when the ps3 says choosing bitstream may leave out some audio, i should just ignore that in my situation. Also when i transfer cd's to my ps3 what format should i use AAC, MP3

It is up to you obviously, but I would use a format that would allow you to use the music with a number of devices.
