Paradigm System

About a year ago I purchased a pair of Paradigm mini-monitors and a PDR-12 along with a Yamaha RX-V661 receiver. I just recently purchased a LG 32LG30 LCD TV that is in the living room now but will eventually upgrade to a larger one and put the LG in my bedroom. Just moved into a new place so I am wanting to upgrade the system some to use the 7.1 surround more. I do approx 75/25 tv/stereo on the system. The new place has an approx area 17x12 give or take a few on either side, but is open to the dining room and kitchen but viewing area is within those dimensions. I am wanting to upgrade to take advantage of the systems potential. Mainly would purchasing more mini-monitors be ok to use as surrounds or would I be better off using Paradigm ADP-190 surrounds? if I used the mini-monitors as surrounds I would probably upgrade the fronts to titans or something bigger eventually. I am planning on the CC-290 for the front speaker. As of now I am satisfied with the mini's as front speakers as the sound awesome and get plenty loud for the condo I am currently in. Thanks in advance for all advice.

Re: Paradigm System

IMHO, using more mini monitors would be best from an acoustics standpoint, since they will be sonically/timbre matched more so than the ADP surrounds. I think the ADP might be better if you have to place them right against the walls though, but not sure.

I have mini monitors in front, CC390 center, titan in back (titans used to be in a different line, so the ones I have are a little lower end than the mini-mons are for the time).

Signature? What signature?!
