I've been a drummer since grade 6, so I wanted something that feels a little more "drum-like." I have a Roland TD6-KX, as can be seen below.

I just finished up The Mummy Returns and no issues with it at all as well.

I can confirm that the latest firmware update (2.5) fixed the audio issues with The Mummy and The Mummy Returns. The levels are the same as with other blu-ray disks and there is no audible distortion/clipping as there was before. I listedned at -23 on my receiver where as previously, I listened at -40.
The problems with Panasonic players and Panasonic's response makes me admire them more than if there were zero problems at all. Got to love their customer service.

there is a gentleman who I met in the avs forum about the panasonic 30 player.. he is agood guy.. he is not an insider. but he has some limited contact within panasonic. he has helped get some stuff done with the panasonic 30.
