I know in the next couple of years, Comcast plans to stop most analog signals, and transmit only digital signals. When this happens, if I get a digital-ready tv, will I still need a STB or a digital-to-analog converter? Or will I still be able to receive basic cable channels 2-70something through the digital tuner?
And if I don't need a converter or STB, will my VCR still record as it does now, including the ability to watch one show and tape another, and be able to record multiple channels while I'm away?
I'm not technology-minded, and this stuff is giving me a major headache.
