Anyone got any biz news on these guys?

Will the warrantys be "null & void"?

Will they be dumping these for pennies on the dollar?

I just had a 42" 1080p Olevia offered at only $650....

Re: Olevia bankrupt? Kaput or Re-organizing?

According to this report, it's the parent company that filed for Chapter 11 reorganization. The LCD TV business will be sold to new owners, and all warranties will continue to be honored. (Of course, these things don't always go as planned.)

Re: Olevia bankrupt? Kaput or Re-organizing?

Thanks. It makes the purchase even easier....Its leaning toward the positive anyway.

the store warranty was 50% of the TV cost! so I declined, but was home in 30day try out mode and then learned of the C-11.

good article. Sounding more like the Kmart 11, they came out fine...just re-org.
